When director Jared Douglas asked me if he could capture my ascent to stardom, I hesitated. I am a very humble person. But he told me that it would be a fun satire about the world through the lens of Hollywood’s absurdity. A story about identity, and the lengths a man is willing to go for success. I don’t believe that, but I wanted to let my fans see what it takes to become a star. It’s very hard work, and many people doubt your talent.
I have never been in a gang, but as a great actor, I can make you think I have been. That, is acting.
To be a star, you have to be authentic. As a Mexican man, that means you have to be ready to capture life in a gang or as a narco. I have never been in a gang, but as a great actor, I can make you think I have been. That, is acting. It is hard, but you have to be determined and never give up. No matter the cost. It is my job to share those authentic stories to give back to my fans.

For this film, unfortunately, things did not go as planned. If becoming a star was easy, anyone could do it. But, stars never give up, and hopefully in my struggle, the audience will see their struggle, even though my struggle is not their struggle. That they come to love me for the great actor and future household name that I am.
